The Selfridge Air National Guard Base Open House and Air Show is an opportunity for your Hometown Air Force to open the gates to the public and share our capabilities in action while meeting the service members who fly and maintain the aircraft. The open house and air show features a large selection of flying and static displays representing aircraft and equipment from the Michigan National Guard, the U.S. Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, Navy, Department of Homeland Security, well as civilian and historic military aircraft there will be vendors, recruiting displays, and more. Conveniently priced for FREE, this event is for families and individuals of all ages, and is one show you won’t want to miss!

It takes more than a few drops of rain to stop the Selfridge Air Show! The air show will take place – rain or shine both Saturday and Sunday. Air show performers have high, low, and flat routines to adapt to varying weather conditions. Schedules may be altered or delayed for periods of time if heavy rainfall occurs. Please note that there are no refunds or rain checks for purchased tickets.
Motorized scooters and wheelchairs for disabled patrons are allowed in the air show grounds. Personal golf carts are NOT allowed. Please be aware that the crowds may be heavy, maneuvering may be difficult, and that there is no place at the show to plug in and recharge.

Due to security concerns, cooler and large bags are not permitted on the show site. Small coolers for the purpose of carrying doctor prescribed, life-preserving medications are permitted. All personal handbags, totes, diaper bags, etc., are subject to search at the entry gates.
For the safety of attendees and the animals, pets are not allowed on show grounds. Certified service animals are permitted.
No. Selfridge Air National Guard Base is a smoke free and vape-free venue. Any guests found smoking or vaping on the grounds will be asked to leave.

Yes, medical personnel will be on site and a first aid center will be open. Please don’t hesitate to ask any air show personnel in uniform for medical assistance and they will point you in the right direction.

You must vacate the lot as soon as possible after the conclusion of the show. Cars left in the lot more than one hour after the lot clears may be towed at owner’s expense.
When exiting the base after the airshow please follow the guidance of traffic attendants who will direct you to the nearest gate to exit the base.
